Weisseman Scholarship
Criteria:
- The Scholarship may not be redeemed for cash, in whole or in part.
- The continuation of the scholarship is contingent upon satisfactory academic progress (maintenance of a Cumulative Grade Point Average over the previous three semesters of no less than 2.00) and regular class attendance each semester.
- The Scholarship grant shall be used to meet the balance of tuition fees after the application of any other denominational subsidies (or employer funded educational assistance on the part of dependants of denominational employees)
- The Scholarship may not be deferred. Acceptance of the scholarship must be notified in writing to the College 14 days prior to the commencement of classes, If the offer of the scholarship.is not taken up by that date it shall be considered to have been forfeited by the scholarship holder and the benefits of the scholarship will be awarded to another nominee.
- The Scholarship holder must participate in the college Work-Study program and maintain a minimum of 10 hours per week averaged over the semester including the mid-semester and end of semester breaks.
- To qualify for the scholarship students must meet the normal admission requirements of the College.
