AIU Plans to Return to Normal Operation of the University

Dear AIU Community,
As we are all aware, the pandemic has affected all aspects of life and caused significant disruptions to everyday living. Asia-Pacific International University is no exception. We went through many struggles to try to keep the operation going as smoothly as we possibly could. Challenges were present in many aspects of the life of the university. However, we are not the only university in Thailand or around the world being impacted and having to find ways to overcome many obstacles. We wish to thank God for helping us navigate through this very difficult period and for the Thai government for managing to contain the spread of the virus efficiently and effectively at the national level.
Where we are located, Muak Lek District, there was zero case and within the province of Saraburi, 5 cases. Within the past two months, there has not been a single case of Coronavirus within this province. At the national level, the number of cases has been reduced to a single digit. And only recently, the number of cases rise due to the policy to allow Thai nationalities to return to Thailand under strict regulations. The Thai government is slowly unlocking various businesses and easing requirements while maintaining very important protective measures.
Under this circumstance, yes, the university is planning to resume on-site offering of courses (with strict preventive measures) by the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. We are also taking into consideration some possible complications with international students and exploring ways to address certain variations so that the university can continue to provide good academic courses for new and returning students. This current plan is based on the current situation in Thailand and will be in accordance with the government’s measures and regulations. If the situation were to change, we will keep you informed. We thank you for your continued support and pray that we will be able to resume our operation by the beginning of this coming academic year 2020-2021.

Announcement from VPSA

AIU is committed to help flatten the curve of newly diagnosed cases of the Corona virus. But cases of COVID 19 in Thailand keep doubling exponentially every day. We are calling on all of our students and staff and families living on campus to take into consideration the well-being of others. Your actions do not only effect yourself, they will affect your friends and loved ones too. So help us make our campus a Safe-haven to protect one another by following this plan and limiting the escalation of the virus.
The Student Administration has discussed how to best make our campus a COVID 19-free, Safe-haven.
1. During the State of Emergency, the Government is telling us to limit going into town.
a. The government wants us to keep a personal log for us to track our travels, including, date, time locations, and who we meet along the way. Each person is responsible for their own log. If a Government official asks you for your tracking information, you must be able to comply. The university is looking into recommending a phone app that can help with the locations tracking portion of this mandate.
b. During this time, students will need to fill out a form to receive permission from the deans to leave campus, because the government wants only essential trips into town.
c. A van will be made available to transport students to and from the market in Muaklek, in an organized way.
d. The Back Gate will be locked and closed, day and night, until the State of Emergency is over.
e. Guards will continue with thermometer checking everyone’s temperature at the front gate
2. Who is allowed on Campus during the State of Emergency
a. Generally, only people who live or are living on campus will be allowed to stay on campus.
b. Visitors, Day students, AIMS teachers who do not live on campus will have limited access on campus based on necessity and by permission from the VPFA or the VPSA. There will be No access allowed to visit the people on campus, or come for exercise or recreation.
(a) Visitors who receive permission for limited access to the campus must receive and where a visitors pass from the gate guard at all time when on the campus.
c. Trash collectors, Delivery trucks and Food Vendors will be allowed to have limited access to campus.
(a) Food court venders can have extended hours both in the afternoon and evenings on campus.
(b) However, the food court will be closed. Takeout only, and only cooked food will be sold.
(c) Parents may come on campus to pick up their children if students desire to return home. But they should not enter the dormitory.
3. Students are requested to congregate in small groups of 8 to 9 people and not in clusters of 10 or more people. Please, respect social distancing (2 meters) while socializing in small groups.
a. Per government mandate, all sports facilities and fitness centers will be closed.
(a) Students are encouraged to find ways to remain physically active, while at the same time avoid cross contamination of germs and potential viruses. Playing games is not banned as long as precautions are in place to avoid large gatherings, social distancing and sterilizing sports equipment.
b. No club gatherings on or off campus.
4. Married students will need to stay with their young children because children under the age of 5 are mandated to remain in their homes by the government.
5. Faculty and Students who travel outside of Saraburi province or who do not follow campus restrictions will be asked to self-quarantine for 14 days in their rooms or residence.
6. Staff and students need to wear University ID badges when off campus, because there will be checkpoints throughout Thailand making sure you are where you are supposed to be. International staff and students should also carry a photocopy of their passport picture page with them.
Note: This is not a lock down or a campus quarantine. We only plan to limit access in and out from the campus. Our home is our campus, so we plan to make it a Safe-haven for everyone living here.

มหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติเอเชีย-แปซิฟิก มีเจตนามุ่งมั่นที่จะลดจำนวนผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับการวินิจฉัยว่าได้รับเชื้อโควิด19 อย่างไรก็ตามจำนวนผู้ป่วยที่ได้รับเชื้อโควิด19 ในประเทศไทยเพิ่มขึ้นเป็นทวีคูณในแต่ละวัน เราจึงประสงค์ให้นักศึกษา คนงาน และครอบครัวที่อาศัยอยู่ในบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยใส่ใจในความเป็นอยู่ของคนรอบข้าง การปฏิบัติตนในการใช้ชีวิตของท่านไม่เพียงแต่จะส่งผลกระทบต่อท่านเท่านั้นแต่จะส่งผลกระทบกับผู้อื่นและคนที่ท่านรักเช่นเดียวกัน ดังนั้นจึงขอความร่วมมือท่านในการรักษามหาวิทยาลัยให้เป็นพื้นที่ปลอดภัยโดยปฏิบัติตามแผนมาตรการความปลอดภัยนี้
ฝ่ายกิจการนักศึกษาจึงได้หารือและวางมาตรการเพื่อที่จะปกป้องบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยให้เป็นพื้นที่ปลอดเชื้อไวรัสโควิด 19
1. รัฐบาลได้ประกาศ พรก ฉุกเฉิน โดยประกาศให้จำกัดการเดินทางไปในพื้นที่ชุมชน
ก. รัฐบาลประสงค์ให้ท่านบันทึกข้อมูลส่วนตัวเพื่อทราบถึงการเดินทาง โดยมีข้อมูลของวันที่ เวลา สถานที่และผู้คนที่ท่านพบเจอระหว่างทาง แต่ละคนจะต้องรับผิดชอบต่อการบันทึกส่วนตัวของตนเอง เมื่อใดก็ตามที่รัฐบาลขอทราบถึงข้อมูลการเดินทางส่วนตัวของท่าน ท่านจะต้องมีข้อมูลดังกล่าวให้เจ้าหน้าที่รัฐ มหาวิทยาลัยเองกำลังพิจารณาที่จะแนะนำแอพลิเคชั่นในการช่วยบันทึกข้อมูลดังกล่าวเพื่อสะดวกในการเก็บข้อมูลของท่าน
ข. ในระหว่างนี้ นักศึกษาจะต้องกรอกแบบฟอร์มเพื่อขออนุญาตจากพ่อบ้านหรือแม่บ้านก่อนออกจากบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัย เนื่องจากรัฐบาลประสงค์ที่จะให้มีแค่การเดินทางไปในบริเวณชุมชนเพียงกรณีจำเป็นจริงๆ เท่านั้น
ค. จะมีการจัดเดินรถโดยสารของมหาวิทยาลัยรับส่งนักศึกษาไปตลาดในมวกเหล็กอย่างเป็นระบบระเบียบ
ง. จะไม่มีการให้บริการประตูทางเข้าด้านหลังของมหาลัยทั้งกลางวันและกลางคืนจนกว่าระเบียบการใช้ พรก ฉุกเฉินสิ้นสุดลง
จ. รปภ. จะตรวจอุณหภูมิร่างกายทุกคนก่อนเข้ามาในบริวเณมหาวิทยาลัย ณ บริเวณประตูทางเข้าด้านหน้าทุกครั้ง
2. ผู้ที่ได้รับอนุญาตให้อยู่ในบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยขณะที่มีการประกาศใช้ พรก ฉุกเฉินมีดังนี้
ก. ผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่ในมหาวิทยาลัยหรือกำลังอยู่ในบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยสามารถอยู่ในบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยได้
ข. ผู้มาเยือน นักศึกษาไปกลับ และอาจารย์จากโรงเรียนเอมส์ที่ไม่ได้อาศัยในมหาวิทยาลัยจะได้รับการอนุญาตให้เข้ามาในบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างจำกัด ขึ้นอยู่กับความจำเป็นในการเข้ามาเยือนบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยโดยจะได้รับอนุญาตจากรองอธิการฝ่ายการเงินหรือรองอธิการฝ่ายกิจการนักศึกษา จะไม่มีการอนุญาตให้เยี่ยมเยือนบุคคลในมหาวิทยาลัย มาออกกำลังกายในมหาวิทยาลัยหรือมาสังสรรค์
i. ผู้มาเยือนที่ได้รับอนุญาตให้เข้ามาอย่างจำกัดจะได้รับบัตรผ่านให้เข้ามาในบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยและจะต้องสวมใส่บัตรผ่านตลอดเวลา
ค. รถเก็บขยะ ผู้ส่งพัสดุ และผู้ขายอาหารฟู้ดคอร์ทจะได้รับอนุญาตให้เข้ามาในบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างจำกัด
i. ผู้ขายอาหารฟู้ดคอร์ทสามารถเข้ามาในบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยได้ตั้งแต่ช่วงบ่ายถึงช่วงเย็น
ii. ไม่สามารถรับประทานอาหารที่ฟู้ดคอร์ทและอาหารที่จะนำมาขายจะมีเพียงอาหารที่พร้อมนำกลับบ้านเท่านั้น
iii. ผู้ปกครองสามารถมารับนักศึกษากลับบ้านได้หากเป็นความประสงค์ของนักศึกษาที่จะกลับบ้าน แต่ผู้ปกครองจะไม่ได้รับอนุญาตให้เข้าไปในหอพักนักศึกษา
3. นักศึกษาสามารถรวมกลุ่มเล็กๆ ประมาณ 8-9 คน และไม่อนุญาตให้รวมกลุ่มเกิน 10 คนหรือมากกว่านั้น กรุณารักษาระยะห่างทางสังคม (2 เมตร) ในขณะที่พบปะกับกลุ่มเล็ก
ก. ตามมาตรการของรัฐบาลแล้วสถานที่เล่นกีฬาและศูนย์ออกกำลังกายต่างๆ จะต้องปิดลง
i. เราสนับสนุนให้นักศึกษาหาวิธีที่จะรักษาสุขภาพกายในรูปแบบใหม่ ในขณะเดียวกันควรหลีกเลี่ยงพื้นที่เสี่ยงต่อการติดเชื้อโรคและไวรัสที่อาจเกิดขึ้น ไม่มีการห้ามไม่ให้เล่นกีฬาตราบใดที่มีการตระหนักถึงข้อควรระวังในการชุมนุมกลุ่มใหญ่ การเว้นระยะห่างจากสังคมและทำความสะอาดอุปกรณ์กีฬาอย่าสม่ำเสมอ
ข. ห้ามมีการชุมนุมทั้งในและนอกมหาวิทยาลัย
4. นักศึกษาที่มีบุตรอายุต่ำกว่า 5 ปี จะต้องดูแลลบุตรของท่านอย่างใกล้ชิดตามมาตรการของรัฐบาล
5. พนักงานและนักศึกษาที่เดินทางออกจากจังหวัดสระบุรี หรือไม่ได้ปฏิบัติตามมาตรการรักษาความปลอดภัยของมหาวิทยาลัยจะต้องมีการกักตัว 14 วันในที่พักของตนเอง
6. พนักงานและนักศึกษาจะต้องนำบัตรมหาวิทยาลัยติดตัวเมื่อออกจากบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัย เนื่องจากจะมีจุดตรวจทั่วประเทศไทยเพื่อตรวจตราว่าท่านอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่เหมาะสม นักศึกษาและพนักงานต่างชาติควรพกสำเนาหนังสือเดินทางกับตนตลอดเวลา
หมายเหตุ: มาตรการรักษาความปลอดภัยนี้ ไม่ได้เป็นปิดหรือกักกันบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัย แต่เป็นเพียงการจำกัดการเข้าออกบริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยเท่านั้น มหาวิทยาลัยคือบ้านของเรา ดังนั้นเราจึงวางแผนมาตรการการรักษาความปลอดภัยนี้เพื่อทุกคนที่อาศัยอยู่ที่นี้
Announcement from the Thai Government

This is an expansion of the announcement made earlier. This is a summary of measures that will impact the university:
1. To close down the following high-risk areas:
Sports related locations including fitness and playgrounds
2. Prohibition to cross the border into Thailand except Thai citizens returning to Thailand
3. Prohibition to hoard items or increase prices unnecessarily
4. Prohibition to congregate. Physical Distancing to be strictly enforced
5. Sharing of misleading information will be prosecuted
6. Quarantine is required for those returning from Bangkok
7. Measures for certain groups. The following groups should remain in their residence for the purpose of prevention.
a) Individuals above 70 years old
b) Individuals with chronic diseases: diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, respiratory related diseases, allergies
c) Children under 5
8. Pertaining foreigners: Government will regulate closely foreigners who have no working visa or do not have permanent residence in Thailand. Thai government will do what it can to facilitate Foreigners wishing to return to their countries.
The University has been following all important announcements made by the government in relation to the state of emergency effective March 26, 2020 till the end of April that limits all travels across provinces. The university has also met with officials from the local district office here in Muak Lek seeking clarification on the applications of these measures for the university.
There will be further announcement regarding campus security in order to keep this campus safe. At the moment please be aware that the security guards will screen all visitors. The visits for the moment are only for necessity. All visitors must exchange their ID card for a visitor card and their entering and departing times are recorded including reasons for the visit. Temperature check is being implemented.
All these measures will disrupt our everyday living on campus but they are essential in the fight against the spread of this virus. We really appreciate your cooperation.
ประกาศล่าสุดจากทางรัฐบาลและมาตรการซึ่งส่งผลต่อมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ

1. ปิดพื้นที่เสี่ยงต่อการติดต่อโรค เช่น ศูนย์ออกกำลังกายและสนามเด็กเล่น
2. ปิดช่องทางเข้ามาในประเทศไทยยกเว้นพลเมืองไทยที่เดินทางกลับประเทศ
3. ห้ามกักตุนหรือขึ้นราคาสินค้า
4. ห้ามชุมนุมหรือรวมตัวกัน การเว้นระยะห่างจากสังคม จะถูกบังคับใช้อย่างเคร่งครัด
5. การแบ่งปันข้อมูลที่ก่อให้เกิดการเข้าใจผิดอาจนำไปสู่การดำเนินคดี
6. การเดินทางกลับจากกรุงเทพฯจำเป็นต้องมีการกักตัว 14 วัน
7. มาตรการพึงปฏิบัติสำหรับบุคคลบางกลุ่ม กลุ่มต่อไปนี้ควรอยู่ในเคหสถานเพื่อป้องกันตนจากการติดเชื้อ
– ผู้สูงอายุตั้งแต่ 70 ปีขึ้นไป
– กลุ่มคนที่มีโรคประจำตัว เช่น โรคเบาหวาน โรค ความดันโลหิตสูง โรคหัวใจ โรคระบบทางเดินหายใจ โรคภูมิแพ้
– กลุ่มเด็กเล็กอายุต่ำกว่า 5 ปี
8. สำหรับชาวต่างชาติในประเทศไทย เพื่อควบคุมชาวต่างชาติที่ไม่มีวีซ่าทำงานหรือไม่มีถิ่นที่อยู่ถาวรในประเทศไทย หากประสงค์จะเดินทางกลับประเทศของตน เจ้าหน้าที่รัฐจะอำนวยความสะดวกเท่าที่ทำได้
มหาวิทยาลัย ฯ ดำเนินการปฎิบัติตามประกาศของทางรัฐบาลอันเนื่องจากสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉิน ประกาศ ณ วันที่ 26 มีนาคม 2563 และมีการบังคับใช้จนถึงปลายเดือนเมษายน ที่มีผลในการเดินทางข้ามเขตติดต่อระหว่างจังหวัด ทางมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ ได้ประชุมกับเจ้าหน้าที่ของทางอำเภอมวกเหล็ก เพื่อทำความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการปฎิบัติ จะมีประกาศเพิ่มเติมสำหรับความปลอดภัยในการเข้า-ออกมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ ซึ่งในขณะนี้ หน่วยรักษาความปลอดภัยได้ดำเนินการตรวจสอบบุคคลภายนอกทุกคนที่เข้ามาในมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ ซึ่งเราอนุญาตเฉพาะเรื่องที่จำเป็นเท่านั้น มีการแลกบัตรและจดบันทึกบุคคลภายนอกทุกคนที่เข้าออกเพื่อความปลอดภัยร วมถึงการวัดอุณหภูมิ มาตรการอื่น ๆ จะเป็นไปตามประกาศที่แจ้งไว้ มาตรการเหล่านี้จะมีผลกระทบต่อชีวิตประจำวันของเราทุกคน หากแต่เป็นสิ่งที่ช่วยในการหยุดการแพร่เชื้อ ขอขอบคุณในความร่วมมือของทุกท่าน
Urgent Announcement Regarding Summer Courses

The Administrative team met to discuss delivery venues for the coming summer 2020. The following is the announcement. If you need further clarification, you may contact your dean or the VPAA office. Thank you very much.
The announcement from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation states that all universities should go online till further notice by the government. In view of this announcement and the current situation, the administrative team decides to go online/distance learning this coming summer 2020. The university plans to resume classes during the 1st semester of 2020-2021 academic year. Students may return to campus during this time if the situation improves per the announcement by the Thai Government. Hence, prior to returning to AIU Campus, please check with the university for further announcements.
ประกาศเรื่อง การเรียนการสอนในภาคเรียนฤดูร้อน
เนื่องจากประกาศของกระทรวงกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม แนะนำให้มีการสอนออนไลน์จนกว่าจะได้รับการประกาศให้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงและด้วยสถานการณ์ปัจจุบัน ทางมหาวิทยาลัยจึงตัดสินใจที่จะจัดให้มีการเรียนการสอนออนไลน์ในช่วงภาคฤดูร้อนปีการศึกษา 2019-2020 นักศึกษาสามารถกลับมาเรียนในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ของปีการศึกษา 2020-2021 หากสถานการณ์กลับคืนสู่ปรกติและไม่มีคำสั่งเพิ่มเติมจากรัฐบาล ก่อนกลับกรุณาสอบถามและติดตามประกาศของมหาวิทยาลัยที่อยู่ในการเฝ้าระวังสถานการณ์โรคระบาด
Your Cooperation for Prevention
The spread of COVID19 has dramatically increased in the past week. Thai epidemiologists estimate that the rate of increment almost equals that of some high-risk countries. The next two weeks are critical in the prevention of the spread. In light of this, the university would like to request for your cooperation to keep this campus safe by being alert and practice all preventive methods. We highly encourage all to go to Muak Lek town just for essentials and groceries. Avoid populated areas when in public and use all precautionary practices as best you can. Practice social distancing and make it habitual for this period. Please avoid travels to high-risk areas in Thailand. If you are not feeling well please report to the university nurse.
The Ministry of Public Health has issued the latest announcement regarding those who return from Bangkok. The Muak Lek Public Health Office will regulate all returning from Bangkok and impose self-quarantine (announcement from Thai Center for Disease Control, March 21, 2020). There will be more details by the Ministry for those traveling from Bangkok to other regions. We will keep you informed.

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,
We have been receiving many calls and emails from concerned parents asking for their children to return to their homes and being with them during this outbreak of the virus. The PC met yesterday to address this issue and we have made the following decisions:
a. All courses will shift to distance learning modality from April 1, 2020 until the end of the Second Semester.
b. All examinations will be conducted according to distance learning format.
c. If laboratory activities cannot shift to distance learning, an Incomplete grade is assigned to the specific course. The laboratory requirement can be completed after the student has returned to the University.
e. In preparation for the transition to distance learning, regular classes are suspended from March 23 to March 31, 2020 to allow faculty members and teaching staff time to attend training and prepare for the transition.
g. The final examination schedule will be prepared by the Registrar’s Office.
Therefore, students may return to their homes and be with their families. Those who return homes, please wait for further announcement on when is the best time to return to campus. Those who chose to stay, we would like your corporation in order to keep this campus safe. More announcements will be made regarding ways to keep the campus safe. There will be more announcement coming from the VPSA office regarding leaving and entering campus through both gates.

เนื่องจากทางมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ ได้รับโทรศัพท์และอีเมลจำนวนมากจากผู้ปกครองของนักศึกษาที่ประสงค์ให้ลูกหลานของตนเดินทางกลับบ้านในช่วงของการระบาดของไวรัสโควิด-19 ทางผู้บริหารของมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ ได้ประชุมเพื่อหาแนวทางในการแก้ปัญหาและได้ข้อสรุป ดังต่อไปนี้
ข้อ 1 การเรียนการสอนทั้งหมดจะปรับเปลี่ยนเป็นรูปแบบออนไลน์/ศึกษาทางไกลตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 เมษายน 2563 ตลอดจนจบภาคการศึกษานี้

ข้อ 3 หากการเรียนปฏิบัติการไม่สามารถเปลี่ยนเป็นรูปแบบออนไลน์ได้ ผลการเรียนของนักศึกษาจะอยู่ในรูปแบบของ “อยู่ในระหว่างดำเนินการณ์” (incomplete) และจะได้รับผลการเรียนที่เสร็จสมบูรณ์หลังจากเดินทางกลับมายังมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ
ข้อ 4 หากการสอบปลายภาคที่เป็นแบบปฎิบัติ ผลการเรียนของนักศึกษาจะเป็น “อยู่ในระหว่างดำเนินการณ์” (incomplete) และจะได้รับผลการเรียนที่เสร็จสมบูรณ์หลังจากเดินทางกลับมายังมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ
ข้อ 5 การเรียนการสอนยังคงระงับชั่วคราวตั้งแต่วันที่ 23 – 31 มีนาคม 2563 เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้กับคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาเข้าสู่การเรียนการสอนในรูปแบบใหม่
ข้อ 6 ฝ่ายวิชาการจะดำเนินการจัดทำตารางเรียนรูปแบบทางไกล/ออนไลน์
ข้อ 7 สำนักทะเบียนจะดำเนินการออกตารางสอบปลายภาค
ดังนั้นนักศึกษาสามารถเดินทางกลับบ้านและอยู่กับครอบครัว สำหรับผู้ที่เดินทางกลับบ้าน โปรดรอประกาศเพิ่มเติมถึงช่วงเวลาที่เหมาะสมในการเดินทางกลับมายังมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ สำหรับนักศึกษาที่ไม่เดินทางกลับบ้าน มหาวิทยาลัย ฯ ขอความร่วมมือทุกท่าน ในการดูแลและป้องกันไม่ให้มีการแพร่ระบาดเกิดขึ้น ซึ่งจะมีมาตรการในประกาศต่อไป รวมถึงการประกาศเพิ่มเติมจากฝ่ายกิจการนักศึกษาว่าด้วยเรื่องการเข้า-ออกมหาวิทยาลัย ฯ

Dear AIU Community,
We are immediately implementing stricter security guidelines when entering the campus at both the front and the back gates of AIU as a response to protecting our campus from COVID 19.
When you enter the campus, EVERYONE (students, faculty, staff and visitors) will have their temperature taken by the guards or the guards assistants.
In order to enter campus, individuals or groups of people must be identified as either a faculty, staff or a student. If you are a student, you need to be in uniform or be able to show a student ID for each person in/on your vehicle.
If you are a faculty or staff member, please begin the process of acquiring a faculty ID card. If you do not already have one. At some point in the future all faculty and staff members will be asked to wear their ID at all time during working hours.
If you are a visitor, you must receive a visitors pass at the gate.
If you have family or friends coming to visit you on campus. To receive a visitors pass they must provide the gate guard with basic information for all individuals entering campus. Including:
1. Name(s) of each individuals entering campus
2. Who you are visiting
3. Where you will be staying
4. Dates of stay on campus
If someone is entering campus for a short visit, to attend church services, or to deliver items or to pick up items. Individuals need to leave their personal identification card at the gate and provide the guards with the following information, as follows:
1. Name
2. Purpose of visit or events planned to attend
3. Locations visited while on campus
4. Time in, Time out
If you know ahead of time that family is coming to visit you on campus you may pre-register them by contacting the VPFA and providing them with the following information.
1. Name(s) of each individuals entering campus
2. Who you are visiting
3. Where you will be staying
4. Dates of stay on campus

In compliance with the latest Cabinet Resolution and the announcement from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (March 17, 2020), Asia-Pacific International University would like to announce the followings:
1. The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation requires all universities to shift delivery mode of instruction to online and distance learning approaches where possible (please note that this announcement comes from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation which differs from the announcement from the Ministry of Education regarding the closure of all elementary schools and high schools from the 18th to the 31st of March. The Academic Administration is in the process of making plans to make this transition. Details regarding the shifting will be announced soon.
a) Class will continue as usual from the 18th till the 20th of March in order to prepare faculty and students to shift to a different modality.
b) All face-to-face courses will stop from the 23rd to 31st of March. Instead, assignments/projects will be given to students during this period.
c) By April 1, all lecture courses will be shifted to online/distance learning modality.
d) The delivery of practicum and Lab courses wil be in accordance with the guidelines from the ministry.
e) Please keep alert to announcements relating to academic matters.
2. Songkran Holiday will be postponed until further notice from the government. This means, April 13-15 will be regular working/academic days.
3. The cafeteria sitting arrangement will be reconfigured to reduce the number of students utilizing the cafeteria at the same time. Extra shaded seating arrangement will be provided outside the cafeteria.
4. We strongly encourage all dormitory students to stay on campus during this period as we wrap up the semester. Please avoid unnecessary travels to high-risk areas in Thailand.
5. Students, faculty and staff who are not feeling well need to report to the nursing unit. Upon examination, if suspicious symptoms appear, the nursing unit will bring the individual to the local hospital in Muak Lek. The local hospital will make further assessment and send to the main provincial hospital if the assessor recommends further testing. If the local hospital recommends further testing, related expenditure will be covered by the government
ประกาศ ณ วันที่ 18 มีนาคม 2563
เพื่อให้เป็นไปตามมติคณะรัฐมนตรีและประกาศจากกระทรวงอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (ลงวันที่ 17 มีนาคม 2563) มหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติเอเชีย-แปซิฟิกจึงออกประกาศดังต่อไปนี้
1. กระทรวงอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรมให้มหาวิทยาลัยทุกแห่งปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนจากแบบปกติเป็นแบบออนไลน์หรือแบบศึกษาทางไกลตามความพร้อมของสถาบัน (โปรดทราบว่า ประกาศฉบับดังกล่าวออกจากกระทรวงอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม ซึ่งแตกต่างกับประกาศที่ออกจากกระทรวงศึกษาธิการเกี่ยวกับเรื่องการปิดโรงเรียนระดับประถมและมัธยม ตั้งแต่วันที่ 18 – 31 มีนาคม) สำนักวิชาการกำลังอยู่ในขั้นตอนการจัดเตรียมการเพื่อปรับเปลี่ยนวิธีการเรียนการสอน โดยรายละเอียดมีดังต่อไปนี้
a. ในระหว่างวันที่ 18-20 มีนาคม ชั้นเรียนจะยังคงมีการเรียนการสอนแบบปกติเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้กับอาจารย์และนักศึกษาเข้าสู่การเรียนการสอนในรูปแบบใหม่
b. ในระหว่างวันที่ 23-31 มีนาคม จะไม่มีการเรียนการสอนในห้องเรียน แต่อาจารย์จะมอบหมายงาน/โครงการให้กับนักศึกษาแทน
c. ภายในวันที่ 1 เมษายน ทุกหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนจะปรับเปลี่ยนไปใช้รูปแบบออนไลน์/ศึกษาทางไกล
d. การฝึกงานนอกสถานที่และการฝึกเรียนในห้องปฏิบัติการให้เป็นไปตามประกาศของกระทรวง
e. ขอให้ทุกคนคอยติดตามประกาศที่เกี่ยวข้องกับงานวิชาการอย่างใกล้ชิด
2. จะมีการเลื่อนวันหยุดเทศกาลสงกรานต์ออกไปจนกว่าจะมีประกาศจากรัฐบาล ซึ่งหมายความว่า วันที่ 13-15 เมษายน จะเป็นวันทำงาน/วันเรียนตามปกติ
3. จะมีการจัดเรียงโต๊ะเก้าอี้ที่โรงอาหารใหม่เพื่อลดจำนวนผู้ใช้ในช่วงเวลาเดียวกัน นอกจากนั้น จะมีการเสริมโต๊ะเก้าอี้แบบในร่มไว้นอกบริเวณโรงอาหาร
4. เนื่องจากมหาวิทยาลัยใกล้สิ้นปีการศึกษา จึงขอความร่วมมือมายังนักศึกษาที่พักในหอพักให้หลีกเลี่ยงการเดินทางไปยังพื้นที่เสี่ยงภายในประเทศ
5. นักศึกษา คณาจารย์ และเจ้าหน้าที่ที่เจ็บป่วยไม่สบาย ให้รายงานไปยังหน่วยพยาบาลทราบ หลังจากได้รับการตรวจคัดกรองแล้ว หากพบว่ามีอาการน่าสงสัย หน่วยพยาบาลจะส่งต่อไปยังโรงพยาบาลประจำอำเภอมวกเหล็ก และโรงพยาบาลดังกล่าวจะทำการตรวจวินิจฉัยและส่งต่อไปยังโรงพยาบาลประจำจังหวัดเพื่อทำการตรวจวินิจฉัยเพิ่มเติมต่อไป หากโรงพยาบาลประจำอำเภอเป็นผู้สั่งให้ทำการตรวจวินิจฉัยเพิ่มเติม ค่าใช้จ่ายในส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องจะได้รับการจัดสรรจากรัฐบาล
