On Sunday, January 18, 2026, the Asia-Pacific International University Church Family Ministry organized a Fun Run that started at the university football field. The event was primarily designed for families, though participation was open to all. Its main purpose was to raise funds to support three families in need, while also promoting family bonding and strengthening relationships in the university community.
Registration fees were set at 20 baht for students, 50 baht for parents, and 20 baht for children. Friends and other non-AIU residents registered for 100 baht, while children under five years old participated free of charge.
Attendance check-in and on-site registration took place from 5:45 a.m. to 6:20 a.m., with almost 50 participants joining the event. The program opened with a prayer and short reflection led by the SEUM Director of Family Ministry, followed by a group stretching and warm-up session.
The Fun Run began shortly afterward, and while most decided to walk, a handful of participants paced the run route more quickly. After completing the run, participants were provided with light refreshments, including bananas, sandwiches, congee, and water.
Through initiatives such as this Fun Run, AIU Church Family Ministry continues to support community well-being through combining service, health, and meaningful connection in a family-centered environment.
