August 15, 2023— The Academic Administration of Asia-Pacific International University hosted an inspiring convocation chapel to inaugurate the beginning of a new school year.
The convocation ceremony began with the entrance of AIU’s faculty staff onto the stage, followed by the singing of Thailand’s national anthem and warm welcome remarks by Dr. Elvin Walemba. A congregational hymn was led by Dr. Naltan Lampadan before an opening prayer was delivered by Dr. Ritha Maidom. Asst. Prof. Dr. Kamolnan Tweeyanyongkul introduced AIU’s faculty, followed by the Student Council President and Vice President introducing AIU’s student body.
The ceremony was then enlivened with a captivating choir performance by AIU’s University Chorale, conducted by senior Paula Ciku Njine. Dr. Jarurat Sriratanaprapat, AIU’s President, then delivered an uplifting message to the students, especially those pursuing education and knowledge, encouraging them to face the new academic year in faith and stride.
