Festival of Faith 2026: A Life Journey of Faith

AIU hosted its annual Festival of Faith from September 7–12, 2026, at the Auditorium, bringing together students, faculty, and staff for a week of worship, reflection, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.

This year’s theme, “A Life Journey of Faith,” invited the university community to reflect on faith as an ongoing journey and to recognize God’s presence and guidance throughout different stages of life. Through worship, personal testimonies, and fellowship, participants were encouraged to consider how their experiences, choices, and relationship with God contribute to their individual journeys of faith.

A special feature of the festival was the testimony of guest speaker Elder Tadaparti Ramana Prakash, an engineer visiting from Malaysia. Elder Prakash shared his personal journey from Hinduism to Christianity and reflected on the role of his late wife’s faith and devotion in shaping his own spiritual journey. His testimony provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on the ways faith can influence personal transformation and everyday life.

The worship experience was led by Nomad Worship, who joined the festival from Chile. Their participation brought an international dimension to the program and provided opportunities for the university community to worship together through music and song.

Another highlight of the festival was the debut of “Jesus is Coming,” a collaborative song created by Nomad Worship together with Swan Yi Htet, a theology student at AIU. The new song added a meaningful student contribution to the festival and reflected the creative ways in which students can participate and share their faith through their talents.

Throughout the week, the Festival of Faith provided students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to pause from their regular routines, spend time in worship, and reflect on their personal relationship with God. The event emphasized that faith is not simply a single experience, but a continuing journey shaped by daily choices, relationships, challenges, and spiritual growth.

AIU expresses its appreciation to Elder Tadaparti Ramana Prakash, Nomad Worship, students, faculty, staff, and everyone who contributed to the Festival of Faith 2026. Their participation helped make the week a meaningful opportunity for the university community to worship, reflect, and continue its journey of faith together.
