
–Global Youth Day (GYD), launched in 2013, has always focused on empowering young people to be active in their faith. It’s about more than just community service projects; it’s about living a life of discipleship and sharing God’s message with others. This year’s theme, “Show Up! In The Cities,” aimed to refocus GYD on outreach and evangelism in urban areas.
While humanitarian projects are essential, GYD emphasizes the ongoing act of kindness and sharing God’s love, not just on a designated day but as a way of life. The General Conference hosted a live broadcast on March 16, 2024, featuring reports from youth groups to showcase the impactful work happening worldwide.
