
Asia-Pacific International University was honored to welcome His Excellency Rachmat Budiman, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Thailand and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP), together with his delegation, on a special visit to our campus.
During the visit, His Excellency met with Dr. Jarurat Sriratanaprapat, President of AIU, along with the university’s vice presidents. Their discussions centered on building stronger cooperation, including the development of memorandums and enhanced communication between AIU and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bangkok.
Alongside these official talks, representatives from the Indonesian Embassy, the Education and Cultural Attaché, the Immigration Office, and the Permitha Thailand organization engaged with AIU students in academic and cultural sessions. The program included a webinar on “Harnessing AI in Learning and Research,” an information session with Thai Immigration, and the formal establishment of the Permitha Simpul AIU organization.
