It was a special Sabbath on September 21, 2019 at the University Church as AIU campus family, community and visitors witnessed the ordination service of Pastor Mahaingam Varah and Pastor Soontorn (Ben) Thanteeraphan. Organized by the Thailand Adventist Mission, the theme of the service was entitled “Called to Serve”. In the service, SAUM President Pastor Somchai Chuenjit conferred the ordination charge to Pastor Mahaingam and Pastor Soontorn, to continue their diligent and faithful service by standing on the rock of Jesus. This charge is apt with the sermon shared earlier in the service by Pastor Nipitpon Pongteekatasan, SAUM Ministerial Association Secretary. He mentioned, “And in whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” Both pastors have connections with AIU Church. Pastor Mahaingam is presently serving as the AIU Senior Church Pastor, and Pastor Soontorn previously served as the AIU Thai Church Pastor in 2015-2016. Both pastors, together with their families, have been ministering for the past 13 years. May God bless Pastor Mahaingam and Pastor Soontorn and their families as they continue serving the Lord.
