Furthermore, our Counseling Center also provides psychological testing and evaluation in order to assess students’ psychological, emotional and behavioral well-being. These assessments will help students to set goals and develop an appropriate plan for positive change. It is the Counseling Center’s desire to help AIU students to be successful, happy, healthy, and balanced in all areas of their lives.
Information discussed with the Counselor is treated with utmost privacy and confidentiality, unless the student gives permission to share information with others, or in cases of immediate danger of serious harm to the student or someone else. Students under 18 have different confidentiality restrictions.
Visit Us
Don’t wait until your problems become too great to overcome. If you are not doing well in the class because:
- Of factors outside the classroom which interferes your studies
- When you find yourself sad for no reason
- When you are thinking of ending your life
- When you feel anxious and confused
- When you are stressed out
Come and visit the Counselor! The Counseling Center office is on the 3rd floor of the Student Center building.
