President's Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The Asia-Pacific International University President’s Scholarship shall be awarded to one of the top five SDA academic achievers in each of the Senior Classes at following Schools and are not children of church employees under the local mission:
- Sunny Hill Kolej/ School (Sarawak)
- Sekolah Menengah Advent Tamparuli (Malaysia)
- Sekolah Menengah Advent Goshen (Malaysia)
- San Yu Adventist School (Singapore)
- Cambodia Adventist International School
- Eden Valley Academy (Tak)
- Chiang Mai Adventist Academy (Thailand)
- Ekamai International School
- Adventist Ekamai School
- Adventist International Mission School (Saraburi)
- Korat Adventist International School
- Ubon Adventist International Mission School
The award shall be based on the aggregated results (progressive internal assessments and final school examinations) of all subjects studied in the Student’s final year and GPA of 3.00 and above.
The scholarship grants of four years and one-year ESL studies if required shall enable the student to study tuition free toward a degree in the Nursing Program, Thai Program or International Program at Asia-Pacific International University for the duration of the program of study. The scholarship shall cover all tuition and tuition related fees (base on SEUM 25% subsidy items, except dorm, Visa and meals). The student shall be responsible for board and accommodation expenses.
Criteria:
- For new student only.
- Nominations are made by a committee made up of the Chief Administrator and/or following consultation with the Principal of the School and two Senior Class teachers.
- To provide the following documents:
- Examination results
- Letter of application
- Recommendation letters from the above mentioned committee and the School board.
- Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA of all subjects studied in the Student’s final year.
- This scholarship is offered to full-paying students.
Application Process:
- Students can apply from today until January 31st of every year to Ms. Phatcharada, the Advancement Assistant in the Marketing Office.
- The student should fill out the application form and submit a short essay explaining their plans after graduation as well as an explanation of their family situation and financial needs.
