Nupporn - Rupporn Priyawat Scholarship

Scholarship Description

This scholarship is set up in December 2010 with a donation from Priyawat sisters (Nupporn and Rupporn) who were students hereat AIU’s faculty of Science between 1999 and 2002. The scholarship is set up by the Priyawat family in recognition of the daughters’ achievements and to help motivate other students to excel in their studies. The scholarship is also to support and encourage the pursuit of studies in the sciences particularly students who are financially challenged.

 

Criteria:

  1. Must be a Science/Bioscience major with a minimum science and cumulative GPA of 3.00.
  2. The student must have a good citizenship record as evidence by student life office.
  3. The student must be working or doing research in the faculty of science.
  4. Must exhibit interest in community involvement and or held leadership positions at AIU.
  5. Must indicate interest and the potential for higher studies in the area of science.
  6. The student must have some financial needs and will be considered at the recommendation of student finance office.
  7. The award is given irrespective of age, race, color, gender, religion or ethnicity.

Application Process:

  1. Students can apply from today until January 31st 2024 to Ms. Phatcharada, the Advancement Assistant in the Marketing Office.
  2. The student should fill out the application form and submit a short essay explaining their plans after graduation as well as an explanation of their family situation and financial needs.
