The 10 Days of Prayer (January 9-19) at Asia-Pacific International University Church is an annual prayer and revival meetings that brings people together to pray. This year, our guest speaker, Pr. Martin Kim, spoke on the theme: “With God All Things Are Possible.” Many students and staff came together in prayer groups for united prayer in assigned classrooms and at the church. In the evening Pr. Martin shared inspiring experiences from the Bible, his personal testimony, as well as miracle stories of healing from Saeronam Shwimteo (a sanitarium). The 10 Days of Prayer has changed many faculty and students’ lives as seen from the testimony below:
I’m blessed for joining the 10 days of prayer of 2019. It was a miracle that I was able to join every night of the 10 days of prayer because I didn’t attend all the meetings last year. Also, I joined Daniel’s fast.
To be honest, I was not confident to do it as I am afraid that I wouldn’t be able to bear the consequences. But a close friend encouraged me to do it together with him so I did it.
During the first day of my fasting, I admit that there were many temptations. However, as the days went by, I managed to control my diet slowly and successfully ended my fasting. I believe if it was not for God who gave me the strength, I may have ended my fast earlier than that. I praise Him for giving me strength..
During the 10 days of prayer, I can feel that God is working in me. I decided to fast from junk foods, meats, and social media specifically Instagram and Facebook.
As a result, I was able to have more time studying the Word of God, and learning how to pray for myself and others, I felt my body being cleaned out, and witnessed God answering my prayers.
I’m so blessed to have the privilege of this great yet deeper experience with God and it helped me a lot to have a revival in my spirituality. I realized how powerful prayer can be in a person’s life and how it strengthens the relationship between a sinner and God.
