AIU Church Embraces Renewal in “Priorities of Faith” Prayer Revival

In a world filled with distractions and demands, AIU Church took a decisive step back from the hustle to prioritize what truly matters – faith. From January 8th to 17th, evenings were bathed in the light of prayer and reflection during a Ten-day revival themed “Priorities of Faith.”

Each night, from 7 pm to 8 pm, the church echoed with uplifting song services and special music, setting the stage for heartfelt sharings on themes like “Less is More” and “The Freedom of a Focused Life of Simplicity.” These insightful messages resonated deeply, challenging us to examine our priorities and realign them with the core values of our faith.

But the true power of the revival lay in the united prayer sessions. Participants broke into groups, their voices rising in unison as they delved into four fundamental aspects: praise, confession, supplications, and thanksgiving. This structured approach allowed everyone to connect deeper, offering gratitude, acknowledging imperfections, and seeking divine guidance with vulnerability and strength.

We held a specific focus each day, guiding our prayers and reflections. From tackling the “Danger of Being Busy for God” to embracing “The Blessing of Waiting,” the themes resonated with our daily struggles and triumphs. We explored what truly matters in our prayers, discovering the “Grit, Passion, and Perseverance” needed to stay the course. We celebrated the “Value of Being Kind” and cherished the “Practicing an Attitude of Gratitude” that enriches our lives. Finally, we embraced the holy stillness of “The Blessing of the Sabbath” and discovered the true riches in “Be Rich in What Matters – Be More Analog.”

During the Thai ten days of prayer meetings, Pr. Surachet Insom remarked that he saw a fire kindled among young students and church members. He added that the most exciting aspect of these meetings was that these students had revived their spiritual lives, which will continue. The meetings were a resounding success, culminating in over 80 non-SDA guests attending their potluck.

The “Priorities of Faith” prayer revival was more than just a ten-day event; it catalyzed change. It ignited a fire within us, reminding us to prioritize our relationship with God and seek Him above all else. The echoes of prayer and heartfelt connection still resonate within the walls of AIU Church, a testament to the power of faith and the transformative impact of prioritizing what truly matters.
