Asia-Pacific International University took part in the Adventist Education Days from October 26 to 27, 2018 held by the Thailand Adventist Mission on the campuses of Adventist Ekamai School and Ekamai International School, Bangkok. More than 400 Adventist teachers from Adventist schools all over Thailand came together to learn and fellowship with one another.
Asia-Pacific contributed four presentations and workshops to the event through the Faculty of Education (Mr Naltan Lampadan and Mr Ebenezer Belete), Faculty of Information Technology (Mr Phaneendra Puppala) and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (Mrs Ritha Maidom).
The event was historic because it was the first time a nation-wide event was organized by the Thailand Adventist Mission for Adventist schools. Participants had the opportunity not only to grow professionally from various seminars and be spiritually re-charged from inspirational messages, but also to collectively delight in cultural diversity. It was heartwarming to note the Asia-Pacific alumni’s strong contribution to Adventist education in various capacities– from the classroom to the meeting room, from support services to policy making, and from teaching to leading.
