The Music Department of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities organized “A Little Night of Music,” an evening concert on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. The concert featured the Central Philippines Adventist College (CPAC) Choir and Orchestra, and the talented Rene Derek Joseph Inapan, a blind solo pianist.

The performances on the evening were splendid. The CPAC Choir and Orchestra presented several praise and gospel songs, including “When I Hear the Trumpet Sound”. A member of the CPAC Orchestra was seen playing the Guzheng, or Chinese zither. Rene “DJ” Derek Joseph Inapan performed a lively Ginastera’s “Argentinian Dance No.3”, followed by Chopin’s “Winter Wind”. The concert culminated with the Choir and Orchestra’s rendition of G. F. Handel’s “The Messiah”.

The “Little Night of Music” was nothing short of wonderful. Asia-Pacific International University was privileged to have hosted the CPAC Choir and Orchestra.

The Central Philippines Adventist College Choir and Orchestra were in Bangkok for several days for a charity concert during 9th ASI Asia-Pacific Convention 2018.
